A bit about me
Before we get on to the important stuff, I'll tell you a little bit about me and my journey into the fascinating world of dreams. Don't worry, I'll keep it brief :)
I was born and raised in south west Cornwall, and always had a very active imagination and dream life. But it was in my late teen years and early twenties that I really got involved in interpreting dreams. Having graduated in Psychology (BSc), I had been trained in scientific research and critical thinking. I was also aware of the work on dreams carried out by Freud and Jung, although we didn't really study this at uni.
Having enjoyed some success interpreting dreams for friends, I started offering this service professionally. The dream work I did with my clients convinced me that most, if not all dreams, are there to teach us and convey important messages. It also highlighted two major hurdles to successful interpretation (which I will talk about later).
I started a project designed to solve these problems, and this led to my development of the Layered Interpretative Framework (LIF®). You can download it in the next lesson.
Fast forward to my forties, and I decided to rekindle my fascination with dreams by launching 'The Dream Guy' on TikTok. I also relaunched my book, Be Your Own Dream Detective: How To Interpret Any Dream on Amazon Kindle and paperback.
This course covers and expands on my book, and I look forward to connecting with you in the lessons ahead.
